Auburn Basketball Player Calls it Quits

Another Auburn basketball player is leaving the team.

Freshman forward Joey Cameron has had enough. He said he's leaving the program over a lack of playing time.

Cameron is the eighth player to leave the school in the two years since Jeff Lebo became head coach. Cameron says he has not decided on another school, but auburn has not released him to attend another southeastern conference program on scholarship next season.

Cameron averaged 2.3 points and 2.7 rebounds per game and didn't make a field goal in the Tigers' first 13 southeastern conference games.

Cameron averaged 20 points and 16 rebounds as a senior at Leeds High School.
