3 Auburn Golfers Named All-American Scholars

AUBURN (AP) - Three Auburn golfers have been named 2008 Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars by the Golf Coaches Association
of America.

It's the first time in school history that three student athletes were named to the team.

Graduates Jay Moseley and Steven Groover earned spots on the list along with rising senior Glenn Northcutt. Their additions increase Auburn's All-America Scholar honors to 13.

Moseley was a recipient of the award following the 2006-07 season and he's the third Tiger to win the award twice.

Aubrun head coach Mike Griffin says he was real excited about the list, which was released yesterday.
