Braves begin long road trip in Chicago

CHICAGO (AP) - The Braves, who are only 7 and 21 on the road, play the first of ten road games in ten days on Tuesday night at the Chicago Cubs.

The Braves have the fewest road wins in the major leagues, and they are coming off three straight losses to the Philadelphia Phillies at home. It was the first time this season the Braves were swept in a home series.

The road trip includes a series at the Cubs, who lead the NL Central with baseball's best record, and at the Los Angeles Angels, who lead the AL West.

Said Chipper Jones: "It's not going to be easy."

Jones is expected to miss at least one or two games with a small tear in his right quadriceps.
