Alabama enters the Iron Bowl trying to pick itself up after a heartbreaking loss to LSU. Auburn must come back down to earth after a frantic come-from-behind win at Georgia.
Neither team thinks they'll feel the hangovers from those outcomes entering Saturday's showdown.
As Auburn linebacker Travis Williams puts it: "They're both challenges if you're not going into a rivalry game. With a rivalry, anything that happened before that day goes out the window."
Williams says, "It's all about Auburn-Alabama."
Well, it's partly about Southeastern Conference title hopes and trying to earn a BCS bowl bid, too.
Both teams will need LSU to lose one of its final two games to make the SEC championship game even with a win Saturday.
