DAVIE, Fla. (AP) - Jason Taylor is practicing again in South Florida. He's just playing a different game in a different place than his Miami Dolphins teammates.
Just a few blocks from where the Dolphins held today's voluntary practice, Taylor hosted a charity golf tournament to benefit his foundation. The six-time Pro Bowl defensive end denied reports linking him to a trade, saying he has not been contacted about a possible move.
Taylor was reluctant to discuss his ongoing feud with the Dolphins, who haven't been happy that he spent the offseason on the TV show "Dancing With the Stars" rather than working out with the team.
But he said he talked with Miami coach Tony Sparano and general manager Jeff Ireland last night at Taylor's fundraising event. But he still doesn't know when he'll be back on the field - or what uniform he'll be wearing.
