TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Mike Vollmar has been hired to be associate athletics director for football at Alabama.
Vollmar has served for 12 years as an assistant athletics director and director of football operations at Michigan State.
Alabama head football coach Nick Saban said Vollmar's main duty at Alabama will be to oversee the administration and operation of the football program.
Saban and Vollmar worked together when Saban was head coach at Michigan State.
