Oklahoma's Neysmith Transferring to Auburn

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Former Oklahoma guard Tony Neysmith is transferring to Auburn.

Auburn coach Jeff Lebo said Tuesday the 6-foot-5, 203-pounder has signed with the Southeastern Conference school.

Neysmith played in 22 games for the Sooners as a freshman last season and started four. He averaged less than one point and one rebound per game.

Neysmith will have to sit out next season under NCAA transfer rules.

He was ranked as the nation's 100th-best high school recruit in 2007 by Rivals.com and was an honorable mention Georgia all-state selection.

Two Auburn players -- Boubacar Sylla and Matt Heramb -- are transferring to other schools.
