The University of Alabama is seeded Number 3 in the NCAA softball tournament set to open later this week.
The Tide will host a four-team Tuscaloosa Regional starting Thursday.
Alabama will play Chattanooga. Ohio Valley Conference champ Jacksonville State will face Florida State.
Auburn will play in the Friday to Sunday College Station Regional in Texas. The Tigers will play Louisiana Tech, while Number 5 seed and host Texas A&M takes on Stephen F. Austin.
Alabama and Auburn are among eight SEC teams invited. That's the most of any conference.
