Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville says linebacker Kevin Sears has been suspended for Saturday night's game at Number nine Georgia for violation of team rules.
Sears had started the past two games in place of Antarrious Williams for the 15th-ranked Tigers, but has only three starts this season.
He has 26 tackles, including three for a loss.
Sears started 12 of Auburn's 13 games last season, recording two
tackles for loss in the Sugar Bowl victory over Virginia Tech and an interception against Alabama.
Tuberville did not elaborate on the reason for Sears' suspension after yesterday's practice.
Williams returns for the Georgia game after being limited the past two weeks with a sore neck.
