BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Kyle Moore had three RBIs and Brandon May drove in two runs to lead Alabama to a 10-6 win over Samford on Tuesday night.
The Bulldogs (27-16) jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the second inning when Michael Johnson scored on a fly out, Michael Marseco had a run-scoring hit and Michael Rutledge hit a three-run homer.
But the Crimson Tide (26-21) tied the game at 5-5 with a four-run inning in the third, highlighted by May's two-run home run. Alabama took the lead for good in fifth on a two-run homer by Moore.
Jimmy Nelson (2-2) gave up no runs and five hits in three innings relief for the Crimson Tide. Austin Graham earned his second save.
Samford reliever Joshua Vanfleteren (2-3) allowed two runs and six hits in 3 2-3 innings.
