Former NFL Player Fatally Shot at Orlando Apartment Building

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Authorities are investigating the death of a former NFL player at an Orlando apartment building.

Orange County's sheriff's office says 41-year-old Ivan Orsen Caesar Jr. was found fatally shot at the Tuscany Village Apartments early Monday.

Investigators are looking for witnesses who were in the room at the time of the shooting. Corporal Tony Brisinte says shots were fired after a dispute.

Caesar, who was born in the U.S. Virgin Islands, played for Boston College and appeared in 14 games for the Vikings in 1991. He played in the Arena Football League from 1995 to 1999 for teams in Tampa, Florida, Milwaukee and Portland, Oregon.
