TUSKEGEE, Ala. (AP) - Tuskegee has a new athletics director following a 29-month search. He's former Auburn football player Stacy Danley.
Danley was fired as Auburn's athletic administrator in 2005 as part of a department restructuring. He said he had not pursued other potential job opportunities in athletics because he didn't want to move his wife and three sons. He had operated a small construction company in the Auburn area.
Danley replaces Emmett L. Taylor, who was named interim athletic director in December 2005.
