AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Tripp Swann homered, doubled and tripled and batted in six runs and Samford rallied in the eighth inning to beat Auburn 12-11 Tuesday night.
Swann had a two-run homer in the fourth inning, an RBI double in the fifth and a two-run triple in the sixth. The winning run came on an RBI single by Marcus Rodrigues after the Tigers (23-19) rallied from a 10-4 deficit to take an 11-10 lead in the seventh on a two-run double by Joseph Sanders.
Mark Lewallyn got the win for Samford (24-14), while Luke Greinke (3-3) took the loss.
