Alabama beats Troy 11-0 in softball action

TROY, Ala. (AP) - The Alabama softball team dominated Troy 11-0 last night in a front of a record crowd at the Troy Softball Complex.

The No. 2 ranked Crimson Tide (36-3) were led by Charlotte Morgan who went 3-for-4 and Dani Woods who slugged a three-run homer.

Pitcher Kelsi Dunn (15-3) picked up the victory. She tossed four scoreless innings and allowed one hit. Trojans pitcher Ashlyn Williams took the loss.

Alabama travels to Auburn tomorrow (Saturday) for a 1 p.m. doubleheader.
