AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Mike Bianucci had a three-run triple and a sacrifice fly and Brian Fletcher had a two-run single to help Auburn beat Georgia State 9-6 last night.
The score was tied at 4-4 before Auburn (21-12) scored three runs in the fourth inning. One run scored on an error and Fletcher's two run single made it 7-4.
Bianucci's triple extended Auburn's lead to 9-4 in the fifth. Nick Hogan's RBI single brought Georgia State (18-12) within 9-5 in the sixth.
Luke Greinke (3-2) picked up the win with two innings of relief, allowing one run on four hits while striking out two. Joel Reeves (1-1) took the loss for Georgia State, allowing two unearned runs in one inning.
