Magic's Howard Gets Stitches After Collision in Practice

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Orlando Magic star Dwight Howard needed six stitches after getting cut on the mouth in a collision in practice.

Coach Stan Van Gundy said he didn't expect Howard to miss any game time, but the center did have to postpone a charitable event Tuesday. Orlando hosts the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday.

Howard hasn't missed a single game in nearly four seasons with Orlando. This season has so far been the 22-year-old's best. Howard earned his first All-Star start and is averaging 21 points and 14 rebounds a game.
