TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Alabama's Mykal Riley plans to participate in the 56th Annual Portsmouth Invitational Tournament.
Riley, a senior on the Crimson Tide's basketball team, said he was excited to receive the invitation.
The tournament will be held from April 9th to 12th at Churchland High School in Portsmouth, Virginia. It is the country's oldest amateur basketball tournament and is considered a showcase for future professional players.
Riley started in 32 of 33 games for Alabama this season and averaged 14.9 points and 5.2 rebounds. He is one of 64 college players invited to play in the 12-game tournament.
