AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn defensive tackle Tez Doolittle has been granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA.
The Opelika native missed the entire 2007 season as a result of a lower leg injury.
Doolittle has played in 22 career games, recording 19 tackles, including three for loss. As a junior in 2006, he played in 11 games, recording nine stops including 1.5 TFL.
Auburn opens its 2008 season at home on August 30 against Louisiana-Monroe.
