AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Matt Hall and Justin Hargett both hit their first home runs as Tigers during a five-run second inning that helped give Auburn a 10-4 win over Mercer Tuesday.
Trent Mummey went 4-for-5 with a triple and four runs scored for Auburn (15-9).
Taylor Thompson (2-2) picked up the win for Auburn, entering in the second inning and throwing 5.0 innings, allowing four runs on eight hits.
Michael Hurst and Evan Crawford threw the final three innings, allowing two hits and one walk combined.
Mercer (9-14) starter David Harden (2-1) took the loss, allowing six runs in 2.2 innings.
