Jury selection began Wednesday in Tuscaloosa in the defamation lawsuit of two former University of Alabama coaches against the National Collegiate Athletic Association and recruiting analyst Tom Culpepper.
The suit was filed nearly two years ago by Ronnie Cottrell and Ivy Williams.
A pool of 79 potential jurists, who completed 18-page questionnaires, met yesterday, but attorneys didn't get as far as actually picking the jury.
Among the first witnesses are Rodney Orr of TiderInsider.com and radio host Paul Finebaum of Birmingham.
