Moody Could Upgrade Florida's 'Inadequate' Running Back Position

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Emmanuel Moody is making his debut when Florida begins spring practice Wednesday.

The former Parade All-American transferred from Southern California last fall.

Florida coach Urban Meyer called Florida's running back position "inadequate" last season, and hopes Moody will make the difference.

The 5-foot-11, 205-pound Texan ran for 459 yards and two touchdowns as a freshman at USC and was the team's second-leading
rusher despite missing four games with a sprained ankle.

He decided to transfer because the Trojans had a stockpile of talent in the backfield.
