Family members say Goode died Friday at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham. He was 43.

Goode was a walk-on for the Crimson Tide, playing from 1987-1991. He hoped Hazlewood High School win three state championship, before his four-year run with the Tide.

His older brothers Chris, Kerry and Pierre all played at Alabama.
