Xavier Gibson is getting his shot at basketball's highest level. The former Northview and Florida State star will play for the Milwaukee Bucks summer league team.
Gibson just wrapped up his career at FSU. Now, he'll try to turn some heads for the Bucks, or potentially another NBA franchise.
Gibson will join young players already on the Bucks roster, plus other invited players on Milwaukee's summer league squad. His pro shot will begin in Las Vegas, where the Bucks will play five games, starting on July 16th.
Gibson averaged 6.8 points and 4.3 rebounds per game as a senior, helping the 'Noles win the ACC Championship and reach the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
