BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Ashley Bright made two free throws with 11 seconds left to help Crossville beat Geneva 55-52 and win the Class 3A girls state title.

The Lions (22-10) trailed 40-35 heading into the final quarter but outscored the seventh-ranked Panthers (26-6) in the last period 20-12.

Bright was 4-for-4 at the foul line and had four points. Tournament MVP Courtney Thacker had 22 points including three 3-pointers. Emily Peek and Felicity Adkins chipped in eight points apiece. Peek also had eight rebounds.

Jade Broxton scored 16 points, Lessie Scott had 15 and 19 rebounds and Jasmine Wiggins added 12 points for Geneva.
