NEW YORK (AP) - David Letterman told Lawrence Tynes that everybody the "Late Show" host knows was thinking the same thing after the Giants kicker missed two go-ahead field goal attempts in the fourth quarter of Sunday's NFC Championship game.
The former Troy University kicker went from wondering how he would ever make it onto the team's charter plane back to New York to being welcomed to Letterman's couch.
Tynes, who made the winning field goal in overtime to send the Giants to the Super Bowl, appeared on the CBS show.
Tynes joked that the misses had him pondering, "What's it going to be like to live in Green Bay?"
