Former Troy Player Lead New York Giants to Victory

Former Troy Trojan Lawrence Tynes kicked the game winning field goal in overtime to seal it for the Giants.

New York Giants won it 23-to-20.

The 47-yarder sends New York to the Super Bowl for the first time since the 2000 season.

The Tynes kick made up for his miss at the end of regulation that also would have won the game.
