Auburn's Reed Finally Finds Outside Shot

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Auburn coach Jeff Lebo recruited DeWayne Reed primarily as a scorer, and now has him running the offense at point guard.

Lebo prefers it when the 6-foot-1 sophomore is able to manage both roles.

Here's a reason why: The Tigers (10-5, 1-2 Southeastern Conference) got their first league win when Reed scored a career-high 20 points Wednesday night at LSU.

They're hoping for another solid performance from their point guard in Saturday's game against No. 18 Mississippi (15-1, 2-1).
