AU Expects Barrett, Prowell to Play

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn coach Jeff Lebow expects starters Rasheem Barrett and Quan Prowell to be able to play Wednesday at LSU after both sustained injuries against Florida.

Barrett hurt his ankle and Prowell injured his knee during the 72-56 loss on Saturday.

That prognosis was a relief for the Tigers, who have only seven healthy scholarship players and are already without injured post players Korvotney Barber and Boubacar Sylla. Prowell and Barrett are both averaging a team-high 14 points.

The Tigers are 9-5 and have lost their first two Southeastern Conference games.
