Senior Bowl to Feature 22 SEC Players

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - The Southeastern Conference will be well represented in the Senior Bowl.

The game for top senior NFL draft prospects has invited 22 SEC players. The group includes Kentucky quarterback Andre' Woodson, along with three players from Alabama - DJ Hall, Wallace Gilberry and Simeon Castille - and two from Auburn.

Auburn's Quentin Groves and Patrick Lee have accepted invitations to the game.

It's another sign of strength for the SEC. League teams went 7-and-2 in bowl games and LSU won the national title.

LSU will have five players in the game. That group includes receiver Early Doucet, running back Jacob Hester, linebacker Ali Highsmith and defensive backs Chevis Jackson and Craig Steltz.

The game is set for January 26th at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile.
