Friendly Wager

Governor Bob Riley has wagered a friendly bet on the Music City Bowl with Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty -- a bet promising that the governor whose team plays well, eats well.

If Alabama fails to win Friday's game, Riley will send a rack of ribs from Dreamland Barbeque to Pawlenty. If the Minnesota Golden Gophers lose, Pawlenty will send a walleye fish dinner down to Riley.

Riley says he's quite sure he'll be dining on the fish dinner. Pawlenty promised an old-fashioned Minnesota meal of wild rice soup and walleye Wellington from Schumacher's Hotel and Restaurant in New Prague, Minn. But he says he thinks that he'll be the one
enjoying a nice feast after the game.
