Michigan upsets No. 9 Florida 41-35 to send Carr out a winner

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Lloyd Carr went out a winner.

Chad Henne threw for 373 yards and three touchdowns, Mike Hart
ran for 129 yards and two scores and the Wolverines upset Number 9
Florida 41-35 in the Capital One Bowl to win their first bowl game
since 2003.

This one was special. Michigan's senior class won its first bowl game in four tries and Carr ended his coaching career on a high note.

Henne, Adrian Arrington and Mario Manningham torched Florida's
secondary all game. Arrington caught nine passes for 153 yards and
two touchdowns, and Manningham added five catches for 78 yards and a score.

The Gators kept it close thanks to four turnovers and plenty of
big plays by Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow and speedster Percy
Harvin.

Florida failed to convert a fourth-down play at its 25-yard line, and K.C. Lopata's 41-yard field goal put Michigan ahead 41-35 with 2:21 remaining.

Ainge leads Tennessee past Wisconsin 21-17 in Outback Bowl

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Erik Ainge ensured Number 16 Tennessee
wouldn't leave the Outback Bowl with another disappointing loss.

Capping a roller coaster career, the Volunteers star threw for
365 yards and two touchdowns today to pace a 21-17 victory that
stopped Number 18 Wisconsin from joining Michigan as the only Big
Ten teams to beat Southeastern Conference opponents in bowl games
three consecutive seasons.

A month after having an interception returned for the winning
score in a 21-14 loss to LSU in the SEC championship game, Ainge
completed 25 of 43 passes without a turnover to win MVP honors and
help the Vols erase unpleasant memories of a 10-point loss to Penn
State in last year's Outback game.

16) Tennessee 21 (18) Wisconsin 17

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Erik Ainge passed for 265 yards and two
scores as 16th-ranked Tennessee beat number-18 Wisconsin 21-17.

Ainge completed 25 of 43 passes without a turnover and was named
the game's Most Valuable Player.

The win caps a 10-and-4 season for the Volunteers. The Badgers'
final record is 9-and-4.

A year ago Tennessee lost to Penn State in the Outback Bowl.
