TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Three Alabama men's basketball players are set to graduate on Saturday.
That will mean only one of Mark Gottfried's 24 seniors since 2000 will have failed to receive a degree.
Crimson Tide players Ronald Steele, Mykal Riley and John Dill are set to graduate and will begin working toward second degrees in January.
Gottfried says it's easy for people to forget that the players are there to get their degrees, not just play basketball.
Steele is receiving his degree in financial planning, Riley in human environmental sciences and Dill in history with plans to attend law school.
Steele is a former All-America candidate who is sitting out this season following operations on both knees.
