25th Anniversary Holiday Prep Classic Basketball

The Holiday Prep Classic is back for its silver anniversary.

The 16-team high school tournament will be held at the Ozark Civic Center for the second year in a row.

Wednesday, event officials held a tip-off luncheon in Ozark.

The participating coaches went through a blind draw to figure out who'll they'll be playing in the first round.

Last year's tournament champ Enterprise is back to defend its title as well as is the runner-up Andalusia.

Tourney officials say this is one of the most competitive fields in the history of the classic.

The tournament begins on December 26th and runs through the 31st.

Tickets each day will be $5 for student under18 and $10 for adults.

6:30 p.m. Abbeville vs. Highland Home
8 p.m.. Carroll vs. Eufaula
9:30 p.m. Andalusia vs. Charles Henderson

Thursday, Dec. 27
5 p.m. Opelika vs. Wicksburg
6:30 p.m. Bullock County vs. Enterprise
8 p.m. Robert E. Lee of Montgomery vs Barbour County
9:30 p.m. Huffman of Birmingham vs. Daleville

Friday, Dec. 28
5 p.m. Opelika/Wicksburg winner vs. Huffman/Daleville winner
6:30 p.m. Andalusia/Charles Henderson winner vs. Eufaula/Carroll winner
8 p.m. Robert E. Lee/Barbour County winner vs. Bullock County/Enterprise winner
9:30 p.m. Abbeville/Highland Home winner vs. St. Paul's/Ashford winner

Saturday, Dec. 29
Semifinals at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Monday, Dec. 31

Consolation game at 4 p.m., Championship game at 6 p.m.
