Auburn's Offense Still Seeking Answers

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - When coach Tommy Tuberville assesses Auburn's offense this season, the word that comes to mind is "adequate."

Not great, not terrible, just good enough to get the job done alongside a normally dominant defense.

The Tigers would have gladly settled for adequate against Georgia.

The ineffective performance produced a season-low 216 total yards. And Auburn left the 45-20 loss with plenty of shortcomings to work on during the open week, everything from the running game to blocking to downfield passing.

It's a troublesome problem to still have after 11 games, especially with rival Alabama visiting next week.

The Tigers (7-4, 4-3 Southeastern Conference) rank 10th in the league in total offense and ninth in passing, rushing and scoring.
