TROY, Ala. (AP) - Boris Lee intercepted a pass late in the first half and returned it 28-yards for a touchdown to break up a scoreless game and spark Troy to a 24-7 victory over Louisiana-Monroe.
Lee's interception return gave Troy (3-2, 2-0) a 7-0 halftime lead in tonight's game. The Trojans maintained the momentum in the second half.
Omar Haugabook completed 29-of-49 passes and threw for two touchdowns to lead the Trojans.
Haugabook also rushed 10 times for 25 yards and threw two interceptions. Troy's Gary Banks caught 8 passes for 97 yards.
Louisiana-Monroe (0-4, 0-1) was led by Calvin Dawson, who ran 20 times for 149 yards.
