Auburn's Tate to share carrying duty again when Lester returns

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Tailback Ben Tate doesn't want people to forget he's only a sophomore who came into the season with 54 career carries.

Despite a season-high 111 yards against New Mexico State, Tate will have far more competition for carries starting October 6th against Vanderbilt.

That's when Brad Lester returns from suspension. Tristan Davis is also working his way back from a toe injury this week.

Tate has enjoyed carrying much of the load in the backfield. But he said he'll still be glad to have Lester back.
