No Timetable for Return of Percy Harvin

MANKATO, Minn. (AP) - Minnesota Vikings coach Brad Childress
says there is no timetable for Percy Harvin's return from mourning
the death of his grandmother.

Harvin got the news last weekend and left training camp to
attend the funeral and be with his family. The reigning offensive
rookie of the year remains away from the team, and Childress said
he still is not sure when he will return.

Harvin is one of several offensive stars who haven't practiced
recently. Running back Adrian Peterson has missed five straight
practices with tightness in his left leg and receiver Sidney Rice
is on the physically unable to perform list with a hip injury.

Peterson says his injury is minor but Childress says Rice is
"still a ways away" from getting on the field.
