DOTHAN, AL -- Wilson Furr took the course by storm at the Future Masters on Monday. On Tuesday, Furr had to hang on for dear life to win the 13-14 Year-Old age group title at the Dothan Country Club.

Furr shot a +2 over par 72 during his final round, but it was just enough to capture his second age group title at the Future Masters. Furr won the 11-12 Year-Old title in 2011.

After shooting rounds of 69 and 66, Furr entered the final round with a three stroke lead. But, that cushion evaporated just minutes into his final round, when Furr triple bogeyed the first hole, falling back into a first place tie with several golfers.

Furr would bogey once more on the front nine to drop to -1 and out of the lead. Spencer Alexander and Cole Hammer both pushed Furr throughout the day, each briefly holding leads of their own.

But, Furr rallied with two birdies on the back nine, including the go-ahead birdie putt on the par 3 13th hole, to re-take the lead. When he sank a par putt on 18, he secured his second age group title at the Country Club.

Hammer and Alexander each shot -1 under par 69s on Tuesday, finishing second and third with three-day totals of -2, 208. Robby Eisch finished fourth, ending up with a -1, 209.

The course played tough again on Tuesday, with only five players shooting rounds under par. However, two of those rounds were extremely low, with Ty Strafaci shooting a -5 under par 65 and Andrew Kozan also going low with a -4, 66.

Dothan's Kyle Cornelius finished in a tie for 14th place, shooting +2, 72 on Tuesday, and finishing with a +5, 215.
