Wicksburg's Tyler Dawkins is heading to the next level. The Panthers star running back has signed to continue his career at Faulkner University in Montgomery.
Dawkins is excited to get his shot in the college ranks, and he plans to make the most of his opportunity with the Eagles over the next four years.
"I like the coach," Dawkins said. "I like their Christian values and where the program is going. It's really exciting. I'm just really pumped up and ready to get out there."
Dawkins is related to Jamel Harris, one of the greatest football players in Wicksburg history. Harris played at Arkansas, and started on defense for the Razorbacks.
Dawkins is one of 69 players to sign with first-year Faulkner head coach Brett Barker.
