LIVINGSTON, Ala. -- University of West Alabama Head Football Coach Will Hall has signed one of the largest recruiting classes in program history, adding 28 high school signees and 19 transfers to the West Alabama program on National Signing Day.
The second-year head coach is excited about his signing class.
"It is an exciting day to be a Tiger… my staff did a tremendous job recruiting this state. We signed 28 high school kids and 19 transfers, including 17 at mid-year. We have a great mix as usual."
The Red and White's recruiting class includes players at every position with 10 defensive backs, nine wide receivers, eight linebackers, seven defensive linemen, six running backs, five offensive linemen, a tight end and a quarterback.
West Alabama is coming on an 8-4 record this past season, including hosting a NCAA Division II playoff first round game - the first in the program's history.
