The Rehobeth Football Team has a new head coach. The Houston County School Board approved the hiring of Marcus Taylor on Monday night.
Taylor comes to Rehobeth from Andalusia, where he served as the Bulldogs offensive coordinator. He is a graduate of Zion Chapel High School.
Taylor takes over a program that's struggled in recent years. Rehobeth hasn't made the playoffs since 2006, and hasn't won more than three games in a season during that span.
He replaces Neal Rumble, who resigned at the end of last season. Rumble was 10-40 during his five-year tenure at Rehobeth.
