Pike County Hires Fred Holland as Head Football Coach

The Pike County Football Team has a new head coach. The Dothan Eagle reports the school has hired Fred Holland as the Bulldogs head football coach athletic director.

Holland has deep Pike County ties. He played on the Bulldogs 1988 state title team. He later served as an assistant on Pike County's championship teams in 2003, 2005 and 2006.

He replaces Rodney Dollar, who stepped down midway through last season due to health reasons. Holland took over as interim coach at that time.
