The Northview Football Team is looking for payback. The Cougars have dropped two straight games to their biggest rival in the City Showdown, and it hasn't been close.

Dothan won last year's game 58-14, on year after crushing the Cougars 47-7. But, this is a new year and the Cougars are much improved, bringing a 3-5 record into Friday's game.

That improvement will be key, because the Cougars expect to have their hands full with a talented Dothan team at Rip Hewes Stadium.

"They're sound on both sides of the football, and they're well coached," Northview Head Coach Wayne White said. "Their kids play hard and don't quit. We're going to have to match that intensity.

"We're really going to have to execute and not beat ourselves, and just play with a lot of heart and passion for 48 minutes."

Dothan leads the all-time series 17-16. Northview will host the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday night at Rip Hewes Stadium.
