27 Wiregrass high school football players signed college scholarships on National Signing Day last week. Northview Offensive Lineman Hunter Hamm has added his name to the list. Hamm has signed to play at Faulkner University in Montgomery.

Hamm made it official at a scholarship signing ceremony Tuesday at Northview. Hamm is 6-foot-1, 220 lbs. He’ll head up the road to play for Gregg Baker and the Faulkner Eagles.

“I was excited because this has been my life dream to play college football,” Hamm said. So, I got it fulfilled today. I got the most attention from them. I had several schools I could pick from. I just got the most attention and got the feeling I was wanted there. That was a bid deal to me.”

Hello WTVY news, I am soooo proud to see this news story. You see, this is my son and I am up in North Carolina, not able to attend signing. I am technically Hunter's step-mom but have raised him since he was one and a half. What a blessing you and this story have been to me! God bless. Terri Hamm
