The City Showdown is less than 24 hours away. Northview will host Dothan on Friday night at Rip Hewes Stadium.
The Tigers punched their ticket to the playoffs last week, beating Enterprise 36-13. Now, Dothan has turned it's full attention to it's biggest rival, a team the Tigers have beaten two years in a row.
This game hasn't been competitive for the past two years, but the Tigers know Northview is much improved this season, so they're expecting a big test in this annual rivalry clash.
"If anything, I know coach (Wayne) White is reminding them and has posted the score from the last two years to give those guys a little reminder," Dothan Head Coach Kelvis White said. "This is a much improved Northview team. We're going to have to go out and play four quarter football. If we do those things, I think we'll be okay."
Dothan owns a 17-16 edge in the all-time series. Kickoff on Friday night is set for 7:00 p.m.
