MOBILE, Alabama -- South Alabama's Class of 2015 recruiting class continues to grow as the Jaguars have picked up a pair of defensive ends -- Desean Grayer of Clay, Fla., High School and Jeffery Whatley of Dale County High School.
The latest additions increases South Alabama's number of verbal commitments to 15. Verbal commitments are not binding.
Grayer is a 6-foot-2, 225-pounder from Green Cove Springs, Fla., who has also plays outside linebacker. Whatley, from Midland City, is a 6-2, 256-pounder. Both said they were attracted to the South Alabama program because of the coaching staff and the upward swing they see for the program.
