A Jefferson County Circuit Court has granted injunctive relief to Clay-Chalkville High School, placing them in the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) Class 6A state football playoffs.
Playoff brackets will be adjusted accordingly to reflect the change in Class 6A, Region 7. Clay-Chalkville becomes the top seed followed by Oxford, Austin and Hewitt-Trussville. Gadsden City is removed from the playoffs which begin Nov. 4.
