The Chipley Football Team has already made school history. But, the Tigers aren't done. They want to set a new standard in Washington County.

Chipley advanced to the school's first state championship game with last Friday's win at Northview-Bratt. Now, the Tigers will play for the first state title in school history, facing Jefferson County in Orlando on Friday.

The Tigers can't wait to finish what they started back in August, and gring a title back to town, something no Chipley team has ever done.

"We're glad we have these problems, about worrying where we're eating and all that kind of stuff," Chipley Head Coach Rob Armstrong said. "We've tried to get all of that out of the way and get back to football.

"The community is excited, and the school is definitely excited. The kids hare fired up."

Chipley and Jefferson County will play for the 1A title at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando on Friday. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m.
