The Bozeman Football Team will play it's first regular season game on Friday night. The Bucks are coming off a 4-6 season in 2011, but the team learned a lot during last year's up and down campaign.
With 15 seniors and 12 juniors on the roster this season, the Bucks believe they can break through in Class 1A District 3, and unseat either Holmes County or Chipley for one of the two playoff spots out of the district.
"I think the strength of this team right now is the senior class, and most of that senior class is skill guys, and their work ethic rubs off on the whole senior class," Head Coach William Tillman said.
Tillman also believes the Bucks will stun some teams early in the year with an unexpected facet to their offense.
"Speed would probably be the biggest surprise up here," Tillman said.
Bozeman opens the regular season on the road, visiting West Gadsden on Friday night.
