A trio of local players have traveled to Montgomery for Saturday's Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Football Game. The Dothan duo of Joseph Peterson and Aaron Thomas, plus Daleville's Brandon Burks, will play for the Alabama squad on Saturday.
They'll join a star-studded Alabama roster, including Hueytown QB Jameis Winston and Daphen running back T.J. Yeldon. Winston has committed to play at Florida State, while Yeldon has pledged for Auburn.
Peterson and Thomas both verbally committed to Georgia State last summer, but both have received other offers, and could chose bigger schools. Burks has committed to Troy.
Kickoff in Montgomery is set for 12:30 on Saturday at the Crampton Bowl.
